Manchester United targeting Zinedine Zidane son

MANCHESTER UNITED are planning a summer swoop for the teenage son of France legend Zinedine Zidane, according to reports.

Enzo Zidane, 16, is earning rave reviews with his father’s former club Real Madrid.

But Zidane Sr – who won the World Cup and European Championship with France plus the Champions League with Real, is thought to favour a move to United for his son because of Sir Alex ferguson’s track record of giving young players a chance.

Juventus are also tracking the teenager, who, like his dad, is an attacking midfielder.

He was a member of the French national team that won the 1998 FIFA World Cup and Euro 2000, and was also the recipient of the Golden Ball after he captained the French side to the 2006 World Cup final, a match that saw his career end in controversy after he was sent off for headbutting Italy defender Marco Materazzi.
